About Me

Experience Counts!

For the past 30+ years, I have provided human resources leadership to large and small organizations to improve performance, enhance customer service, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
I have also worked in key management level roles in those organizations managing finances, information technology and other departments. I have significant experience in the areas of leadership development, performance management, recruiting, technology implementation and talent management. I also have expertise designing and personally leading supervisor training solutions. I teach the SHRM certification course for DC-SHRM of which I am a member and on their board. Additional initiatives that I have led include classification projects, enhanced onboarding, HRIS training, and employee relations investigations.
I am a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) since 2015 as well as a member. I am also a Senior Certified Professional through the Public Sector Human Resources Association (PSHRA) since 2015 and a member as well as a Master Project Manager through the American Academy of Project Management. I have also been certified through SHRM for their Veterans at Work program and held leadership roles in many local associations throughout my career.
I have a B.A. degree in Political Science from the George Washington University and a M.S. degree in Human Resources Management from St. Thomas University.
